Voices On Creativity And Magic: Royal Wedding Series

This is part of the Royal Wedding Series which means I’m still in Scotland as you read this.
What you probably didn’t know (or care about) is that I spent all Easter Saturday compiling this series and another one for my muggle blog.
When I say “all day”, great chunks of it were spent doing things that bore no resemblance to writing; sitting in the yard, wandering from room to room, opening the fridge and saying “no” then heading to the sink to pour a glass of water that I don’t want, going to the bathroom a lot, periodically bothering my partner for no reason. That sort of thing.
No doubt you’ll all recognise these valuable -some might say- priceless strategies.
In fact, including a post in the series about creative processes occurred to me during my most effective process… cooking. Which is why I found it quite synchronicitous that I found this interview with the amazing Nigella while looking for something else (food related) on the YouTubez. She says the same thing. In fact, I agree with everything she said.
Before that, we have some more free magical writing from amazing sources:
- Phil Hine’s old Chaos International articles. Download them as a zip file.
- Fossil Angels. I’ve posted it before, obviously, but it turns out it’s worth a periodic re-read. Especially in a post about creativity and art.

Gaah Alan Moore’s writings are deep… too dense… *reads them anyhow*
… Just sayin’
@John just read them slowly
